Portfolio: Sketches of Birds of Prey. The Birds.

Inspired by photography from 'The National Geographic Society".

Reflection

Figurative, Birds
Anthropomorphic, sensitive, expressive mark making. Spiritual, meditative drawing in charcoal and paint.
Inspired by The National Geographic Societies photography. This collection is Philosophical. I have assigned human attributes to this collection of birds, notably the relationships that we go through whilst on our life long journey. A tour of life and experiences of the soul. The joy and sorrows reflected within this work are the finest, purist piece of work signifying 'how to" contemplate, meditate, grow and survive in this tough domain called 'Society' and 'Bureaucracy'.

The Boys aka Gang Culture

The Boys. Gang Culture. Birds of Prey, Gregarious Griffons. Vultures. Scavenging in a gang. Symbolizing cult behavior. I am sugggesting a negative parrallel to the frustrations of young men during the 2011 Riots, in the U.K. Fear or Fight. Back to basic instincts as we are fearful of our financial security. Our society is only as stable as its people. The current philosophy is that we are all endangered, we can all loose: jobless, homeless,, disempowered, disregarded. People generally stick together in these kind of climates, post war a brilliant example of the survival instinct and our nation's people is what held the country together, all sharing all caring.
