Novalis, meaning ‘newly ploughed field’ or more specifically ‘one who has opened up new land’. Full of pure religious feeling and philosophical depth embodied in Donna’s existence and communicated through her paintings and reviews.
To cultivate the earth, to baptise and humanise it by ‘Love’. To enable the earth and her people, to be raise to the highest power, allowing the productive and creative ideas to grow.
I am an example of human possibilities: sometimes this ‘possibility’ appears different from our present state, so pure and angelical in thought, so transparent and lacking in personality in the lower sense, we can hardly believe that this is human.
I also juxtapose this with the inadequate, dire, incumbent, reality I face as I am human, flawed and destructive. I am therefore truly human and this makes me elusively terrifying. ‘I’, as Rilke speaks of in his poetry: ‘We, who are hardly human, not fully real, as we identify to God, and Godness (goodness) aspects through social development, yet heathen in our disgust of our own idolatry’, I respond by reaching in turn to a more honest response to humanity through the Primordial mind, back to the essence of the limbic brain, of man before evolution. Back to truth of love in existence and the need for nothing more.
